Pedestrian way
The south west corner of the Chilwell estate was developed on principles derived from the Radburn-type layout, with pedestrian and vehicle access to dwellings kept separate.

Inham Nook Housing Estate
A surprisingly large estate of social housing on the hill at Chilwell. Now rather better served by public transport than it was at the time of photo as the NET tram passes through the estate.

The south west quadrant of Inham Nook estate was developed on the principle of pedestrian access, with vehicle access to the rear of houses. Very few have garages, relying on communal parking areas like this.
