Bye Pass Road - Chilwell
It is a mystery to me whether this is a misspelling or not. This is a very old by-pass (it is shown on the 1940 historical map). All roadname signs that I have seen along its length spell it in the way seen here.

The morning queue
Traffic on Queens Road West (A6005). A common sight at the moment with the parallel route through Chilwell and Beeston on the B6464 closed due to the NET tram construction. The vehicles seen here will have something like a 10 minute delay before reaching the Station Road / Queens Road junction in about one mile Image This despite the upgrade of the junction with Meadow Lane about a 1/3 of a mile ahead Image
