Originally one of a series of lodges along Derby Road attached to the several large houses in Lenton Park. Dating from the mid 19th century. Listed Grade II. The adjacent railings and gateway are separately Listed Grade II.

Milepost on Derby Road
Now seriously defaced, possibly during World War II as an anonymity measure. On this side the words 'From' and 'Miles' can just about be identified; less so the word 'Derby'.
