Union Street, Beeston. Was a Shipstones House now owned by People Pubs and selling a good range of beers including at least one from the Nottingham Brewery http://www.nottinghambrewery.com/.

The Malt Shovel (1), 1 Union Street, Beeston, Nottingham
A popular local public house just off Beeston's High Road. It offers homemade food. Originally a Shipstone's pub (the original brewery, not the modern micro-brewery of the same name). For some years it has been run by The Pub People Company Ltd.

These days there are occasional special event type markets held on the square in Beeston. There is no regular street-selling.
