Newly opened in the former Durham Ox public house.
Legend has it that it was in this pub that Tim Martin first conceived of the idea for what would become the Wetherspoons chain.

High Road Beeston.
Now selling Real Ales (of what quality I cannot say, as I have not sampled them), a reversal of the situation in the 1970s when the Durham Ox next door was a Home Brewery pub and this was an Allied House selling only keg.
