Stoney Street, Beeston
Now a short pedestrianised street leading of High Road to the Sainsbury's supermarket. Sainsbury's position as the largest store in the town is about to change with the opening of the Tesco Extra on 1st Nov 2010. The blue on the right is the window frames of an O2 shop on the corner of High Road.

The Pottle, Beeston
Formerly the Pottle of Blues, this is the most micro of micro pubs - very small inside, but there is outdoor seating. Nevertheless, a wide range of beers is available.

Small square by Sainsbury's
A 1980s retail development. Quite a pleasant space just off the High Road. The route off on the left is all that's left of Stoney Street.

The Greyhound
High Road Beeston. Now selling Real Ales (of what quality I cannot say, as I have not sampled them), a reversal of the situation in the 1970s when the Durham Ox next door was a Home Brewery pub and this was an Allied House selling only keg.
