Nearly eight years after demolition and still no houses! Stallion Auto Bodies has moved in now though. There has been some dispute over the proposed access to the planned housing here with an entrance off Dovecote Lane being opposed. Compare with Image

Pigeons scatter
The buildings of Beeston maltings have provided comfortable lodgings for feral pigeons for many years. There is now very little roof-space left for them to settle on. Here the actions of the demolition boom has disturbed them again.
