The bandstand -Dovecote Lane Recreation Ground
There are a couple of plaques on this bandstand, the one on the left tells us that: This Recreation Ground was opened on July 7TH 1908 By The Right Hon. J.E. ELLIS. M.P. Towards the cost of which HENRY J PEARSON. ESQ. contributed £1000. The one on the right states: This Band Stand was given by LOUIS F. PEARSON. Esq. April 1909
