Grade II listed. Listing number 1277990. Originally a farmhouse dating from the 1560s. Later its use changed to a school, run first by Elizabeth Henshall in the late 19th century, followed briefly by Maud Mary Willett and then, for forty-four years up to 1947, by Miss Amy Eleanor Horner.
