Building D10 at Boots Factory Site
One of the very small number of industrial buildings to have been awarded Listed Grade I status - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1247927 for full information. This view shows one of the key elements of the reinforced concrete design which allowed the building to be cantilevered out over the loadings bays along the right hand side of the buildings. This created a covered space but without any pillars to restrict vehicle movement. Opened in 1932.
