This wall has partially collapsed during the period of dereliction, but it serves to show the internal flues enabling the walls to be heated. One of the stoke holes http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6962019 can be seen at the bottom of the picture.

North section, the old kitchen garden, Wollaton Hall
Before restoration started there were a number of trees growing alongside the north wall, on the left, but the Cedar, as an original item, is the only one left standing. To the right of the tree the new horticultural section created by the Friends of Wollaton Park.
