Noel Street and The Pinnacle
These formerly rather grand three-storey houses face The Forest and, further down the hill, the tram stop. The left-hand semi of the first pair, Ethel Villas, was once the home of the Nottingham-born painter Dame Laura Knight - this is marked by one of the city's green plaques. The Pinnacle (formerly Braidwood Court) is Hyson Green's only tower block. Image] shows these houses in a wider context.
