QMC (Queens Medical Centre)
This is a major regional hospital built in the early 1970s. It was sited next to the University campus to enable the teaching hospital elements to be suitably integrated. This is the view from the corner of the University Park

The Sir Peter Mansfield Bridge
Completed just over two years after the tram stop opened. This bridge now connects the stop directly to the QMC. This photo was taken from the doorway to/from the hospital.
I was in the school of thought that the bridge did not really need a name, but in the end it's good that it should commemorate the person primarily responsible for the development of the MRI scanner https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Mansfield .
