Triumph Road: after the fire
The incomplete GlaxoSmithKline Carbon-Neutral Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry on Nottingham University Jubilee Campus was destroyed by fire on 12 September 2014. Parts of the remains were still smouldering four days later. Triumph Road was closed to through traffic.

Risen from the ashes

A changed view on Triumph Road
Triumph Road (once lined by cycle factories) passes under the University's distinctive Sir Colin Campbell Building. Beyond is the new Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry, which opened in 2016 after being destroyed by fire in September 2014 when only partly built.
