Nottingham - NG7 (Park)
The commencement of a footpath that links Harlaxton Drive with Pelham Crescent. As Harlaxton Drive is not part of the Park Estate perhaps this represents an attempt to maintain a notional "secure perimeter". A notice on the side of the gate in the distance declares that the gate is closed and locked between 11.00pm - 7.00am, although perhaps, as with the other gates, this is only happens occasionally ?

The Pelham Crescent end of a footpath that links Harlaxton Drive with the former. Harlaxton Drive is not part of the Park Estate and so perhaps this represents an attempt to maintain a notional "secure perimeter". Flats upright and flat
Perhaps not quite flat, but not standing. The pile in the foreground is the ruins of Digby Court, one of the five towers of the Willoughby Street Estate. These are being demolished piecemeal, to be replaced by a mixture of houses and flats. Behind are Abbey Court and Newgate Court.

The streets on the south side of Derby Road were developed slightly later than their counterparts on the northern side, and for a slightly more affluent clientele.
