E.Sallis Ltd, manufacturers of medical knitwear and surgical garments occupy these and other premises on Waterford Street. The company was founded in 1858 and the Sallis family have seen their business evolve from a cottage industry with hand knitting frames to hi-tech computerised knitting machines.
