Nottingham - Carrington/Sherwood, NG5
The junction of Bingham Rd and Watcombe Circus. The building with the turret is part of a domestic garage that forms part of the property in the picture - No.3 Bingham Rd. The front door of this private house is through the small gate in the foreground of the picture. A neighbour explained to me that the owner had built the turret onto his garage himself so that overall his property would blend in with some of the Watson-Fothergill architecture in the vicinity.
