Lambley NG4, Notts.
A view along Main Street with the former Post Office on the left. This is now called "The Piste Office" and is a ski equipment and snow-boarding workshop, a retail space and a training centre. The telephone box now houses a book-loan collection and local information point. The village still sports a couple of pubs and an independent garage that sells some provisions.

Cocker Beck, Lambley
The constrained and partially culverted course of the beck through the village means that it is susceptible to flooding after exceptional rainfall. Following such a flood in 2012, partly due to debris blocking culverts, this grille was installed, but a further flood ensued in 2019.
