Big Red bus
In fact only the front of the bus is red. The colour however indicates that it is on the 44/45 circular route serving Netherfield, Gedling and Mapperley on the eastern side of Nottingham. On Arnold Lane with Gedling Church in the background.

Former Gedling Colliery yard
This area was probably the coal storage area for the pit. Only a few straggly birches and some teasels are managing to win a living from this patch.
