Odd man out
For some reason the electronic display at one of my local bus stops was advertising normal Monday departures, even though on Christmas Day there was no service. All the other displays that I saw during the day were showing a 'Christmas Day – no service' message.

The fall of snow was good powder snow, giving ideal tobogganing conditions. The landscaped sides of this former brickyard make ideal slopes of varying lengths, with plenty of safe runs for beginners.
