A difficult left turn
Carlton Valley is not an easy area for buses to negotiate. Not only are there several steep hills (see Image), but the roads tend to be narrow and full of parked cars and there are several tight junctions. The bus is turning from Fraser Road onto Marshall Hill Drive, having negotiated a narrow gap between parked cars. When this picture was taken, Nottingham City Transport had recently replaced full size single deckers on this route with slightly shorter vehicles like the one pictured.

Wonky photo taken from the car, but Kenrick really is as steep as it looks.
