Ruskington railway station, Lincolnshire, 2012
Opened in 1882 by the Great Northern Railway and Great Eastern Railway on their joint line from Lincoln to Sleaford, this station closed in 1961 and was demolished. It was rebuilt and reopened in 1975.
View south towards Sleaford. There was never a footbridge here, southbound passengers had to cross the tracks by the foot crossing seen here. In 2014, a new access ramp from road level was constructed and the foot crossing closed. See Image for a 2022 view taken from the ramp.
