RiverLight Festival installation
One of a number of things to see at the RiverLight (sic) festival held over the weekend of 19th/20th March 2022. St Deny's church spire behind takes it all in its stride. This particular installation is called 'Octo', by Dream Engine and features an acrobat 'inside' during an aerial performance.

Lloyds Bank, Sleaford
In two parts. The nearer building dates from 1904 and is a fine example of an Edwardian bank designed by W. Watkins and Son. To the right is an earlier building dating from the late seventeenth century. https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101168531-lloyds-bank-northern-partlloyds-bank-southern-part-sleaford#.Wepu04hrzVI

War Memorial, Market Place
Grade II Listed memorial with three statues of warrior kings. Built about 1922 by Messrs W H Maxey and Son of Eastgate, restoration was carried out in 2012 to mark its 90th anniversary. Pevsner dates it to circa 1920 but LINCS to the past apparently sourced from a 1922 Sleaford Journal notes that 'On 4 June 1922 the memorial was unveiled by Mrs H A Peake who had lost three sons in the Great War. The memorial cost £630 to build'.
