Yorkshire Trading Company - Sleaford
This was the town's Woolworth's store. The contagion spreads as the shop next door to it is holding a 'Closing Down Sale'. Among the smaller shops undergoing the same fate a little further down the street the local branch of Curry's is also cleared of all but the smallest of items as it too closes.

Yard off Southgate, Sleaford
Many premises on Southgate had entrances to rear yards where would be found stables, workshops and stores. In Sleaford, as in so many other places, these yards have been sacrificed for carparking.

Sleafordian coach
A Optare Solo low floor bus, or rather coach. The Sleafordian company refers to all of its vehicles as coaches. The company operates two of these vehicles for the "town" service (you will notice the destination blind number "1T")

The Handley Monument viewed from Sleaford Station
The ornate monument, located in Southgate, Sleaford, was funded by public subscription in honour of Henry Handley who was a respected son of the town.
