That was quick!
New houses popping up. For my money I'd want a lot more space between my neighbours for the price. Not to mention the speeding traffic in a 30 mph zone scooting past my front door. For a distant view of what it looked like beforehand, see Image

Dryad in Goodson's / Godson's Holt by Jason Thompson
Sadly no longer with us, this sculpture was created c.1996 on a dying tree, which sprouted branches one last time before dying along with the tree nymph depicted. See a close up here Image This was one of a number of installations initiated by the local Council's New Life Scheme. The site is managed by the Woodland Trust https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/visiting-woods/woods/godsons-holt/.

New houses on the horizon
The start of the new housing development on the south east of Sleaford. It's October 2017 now (photo taken in March 2017) and still no sign of any activity on the building front.

New road markings. Will they help?
Let's hope the narrower gap after the right turn will help reduce the top speed from 60 mph along this 30 mph stretch of road. Much better than nasty speed bumps!

Taking shape
New housing (and Co-op) development on London Road beginning to look less like a construction site as the houses on the frontage are completed, with some already having been sold. Handy for the shop too!
