The New Inn at Folkingham, near Bourne, Lincolnshire
The New Inn started life 200 years ago as a pair of cottages used as accommodation for staff at the nearby workhouse while the kitchen provided food for the inmates. They were merged to become an inn around 1850, once known as the Heathcote Arms after a prominent landowning family, and now as the New Inn it has become one of the most popular public houses in the area.
