Former railway houses

Corby Glen railway station (site), Lincolnshire
Opened in 1852 as "Corby" by the Great Northern Railway on the line from Peterborough to Doncaster, this station was renamed "Corby Lincs" in 1937 and then became Corby Glen in 1947. It closed to passengers in 1959 and completely in 1964.
View north from a passing train at the site. The site is still clearly defined and the former Great Northern Hotel building survives in other use.

Former level crossing

At one time this was the approach road to Corby Station.
At the end is the bend where the A151 road dives down to tunnel under the railway.
