Laziness at the sheep fair
I am stood, here, in the entrance to Image, where parking is free. But people have chosen to park on the road verge rather than walk an extra hundred metres from the car park. The handful of vehicles fully on the verge are those associated with the clay shoot and the Air Ambulance collection caravan, but those on the edge of the road are just selfish punters.

Water installation
Two service valves (SV) with associated sign, flanking a Water Outlet. Although the cover in the middle says "FH" for Fire Hydrant, the sign clearly says "WO" for Water Outlet. This is normally a designated point for a standpipe, either for agricultural use or as an emergency supply for domestic users. The below-ground hardware is identical for an FH and a WO; but it is likely that the WO designation is used when the flow will not be adequate for firefighting.

Re-growth
A Horse Chestnut, felled because of disease some dozen years ago, has decided to give it another go. The profusion of growing stems will make the ensuing specimen something very interesting to behold in half a hundred years. I doubt I will be around to see it.

Part of the 783rd Corby Glen Sheep Fair - the sales are now held on the Monday after the weekend's jollities, so I missed the chance to photograph them again!
