A fascinating church and archaeological puzzle to unravel. Saxon long and short work, Norman arcade and all kinds of gothic. Some excellent poppy heads on the ancient benches.

St Mary's Church, Wilsford
St Mary's Church, Wilsford is dominated by its slender Perpendicular spire. The base of it is on the left of the path. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5001341 for its full height. The church itself is mainly Early English, although there are two Norman piers in the nave from an earlier building.
