The Cottage, Knipton
Despite the name, quite a substantial house, built in the late 19th century in what is described in the listing as 'Vernacular Revival' style. Listed Grade II. The elaborate bargeboards are typical of buildings on the Belvoir Castle estate.

Knipton War Memorial
The inscription on one of the slate panels reads: "To the memory of the men of Knipton who made the supreme sacrifice in The Great War 1914-1918. In thankfulness to God for the victory their valour helped to win and also to commemorate the patriotism of all from this village who fought for their country this monument is set up by those who love them and are proud of them".

The village pump in Knipton
This large village pump was restored as the village Millennium project. It is at the junction of Main Street and Belvoir Road.

Belvoir Road, Knipton
The village was once totally owned by the Duke of Rutland and any properties still owned by the estate sport very pleasing cream paint work. This rather imposing house, called The Cottage and in private ownership for many years, displays the typical Belvoir Estate barge boards though with a different colour scheme.
