The home of a number of engineering companies over the years. 4 companies listed at present. Aveling Barford/Barford Site Dumpers main product was dumper trucks and road rollers; Fruehauf is "UK's leading manufacturer of tipping trailers" and the Huffey Group "design, engineer, install and maintain a world-class range of security product solutions".
