Pizza Express, West Bridgford
On the corner of Bridgford Road opposite the Library. West Bridgford is "blessed" with numerous eateries of which this is probably the largest. Many have pavement tables giving an almost continental air to the town's main shopping area.

West Bridgford: Stand with Ukraine
Later on this Saturday morning there was to be a parade in support of the people of Ukraine and their resistance to the Russian invasion. Central Avenue was temporarily closed and buses diverted. The balloons on the right are in the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag.

Central Avenue, West Bridgford
This is the main shopping area of the town with Boots, Marks & Spencers Food Store, Spec Savers interspersed with charity shops, estate agents and banks. The street is semi-pedestrianised with only buses allowed access during the day. One feature of Central Avenue is the numerous café-bars and coffee shops many of which have pavement tables, see far right.
