Heading into Lady Bay
This is the junction where the Lady Bay Bridge road, (to the left). meets the A52, (to the right). Lady Bay is a "suburb" of West Bridgford and lies on the southern bank of the River Trent. It is a Victorian and Edwardian residential development laid out in a grid fashion creating a triangle of houses between the river and the Grantham Canal. The Chinese Take-away in the centre of the photograph forms the western apex of the triangle with Holme Road to the left and Trent Boulevard to the right. Lady Bay is designated a "Home Zone" and has a 20 mph speed limit throughout. Note the blue railings on the far left. These are the same as those in Image
