The Saracen's Head Hotel
A 15th century inn in the town centre. Its main claim to fame is that it was, in 1647, where King Charles I spent his last night as a free man. Prior to that it was called the King's Head.

The sun catches the varied and attractive buildings on the north side of the street. Prebend Passage can be seen which leads to the Methodist Church.

Solid three-bay late C18th house with triple keystones, a feature of many of the town's Georgian buildings. Stone doorcase with fanlight (Image]), and the wrought iron railings have been preserved. Grade II listed. Now offices.
