Horse stile on the Southwell Trail
Near Kirby Close. This short section of the Trail provides vehicle access to a smallholding, so a barrier is necessary to prevent access over the remainder.

Footpath crossing
This footpath, which is clearly an old field access track, now overtaken by housing development. crosses the Southwell Trail at this point.

Cow Parsley (probably)
The Umbelliferae are particularly difficult to identify at times. The seeds often provide the best clue, but need a good magnifier - and it's not much help if you haven't got the guide with you at the time!
