The Parish Church of St Giles, Balderton
The earliest parts of St Giles’ Church date from the 12th century. It was enlarged during the 13th and 14th century and was restored in 1880 when the clerestory was removed. The church has a substantial spire at the west end of the building containing a peal of eight bells. St Giles’ Church is a Grade I Listed building (English Heritage ID:242639 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-242639-church-of-st-giles-balderton-nottinghams British Listed Buildings)
