Former GNR Passenger Station
The former Great Northern Railway (later LNER) London Road passenger station, designed by T C Hine for the opening of the line in the 1850s. It closed to passengers in 1951, and was for many years a parcels depot.
Now a private health and fitness centre I think.

Nottingham Canal: gloom and geese
Canada geese by the canal on a dismal wet morning. London Road is to the left, with the Jurys Inn hotel on the corner of Station Street. The railway to Lincoln and Grantham crosses the canal and passes the former London Road Low Level station (now a health club).
