Collingham has two fine churches, St.John's is at South Collingham. A handsome Perpendicular tower with a largely Norman and Early English church

Although most of this church originates from the 12th century, the Saxon arches on the south side are supposed to have been part of a priory church which reportedly stood at Collingham.
