Charity School
Besthorpe Village Hall next to the church, formerly the Charity School - the founders stone reads "This Charity school was founded by Gentlm & Neighbours contributn April 11th 1734. Mr George Carver of ys parish gave five pounds yearly for ye education of poor children here Octor 21st 1709.
