Carlton-on-Trent - wharf offices
This building appears to be the offices of Robert Teal (Trent Gravel) Ltd. I would assume that, in the past, it controlled the wharf on the River Trent just behind the building.

Houses on Ferry Lane
From Mill Farm looking south along the lane which sits inside the low levee on the left. The second building is the rather attractive "Trent View" with its "1926" stone plaque and original leaded bay windows depicting maritime scenes.

The overgrown area to the left probably conceals the former ferry access.
