War memorial, Bathley
A copy of the minutes of Bathley Parish Council posted on a nearby noticeboard indicated that at its October 2020 meeting a reguest for the PC to buy poppies to be affixed to lamp-posts in the village had been turned down on the grounds that enough had already been spent on this war memorial (in 2014).
