Meadows Way East
Work has now commenced on the modification of the road junction here with Arkwright Street which will include the removal of the pedestrian subway.

Arkwright Walk subway
This will be removed as part of the remodelling of the junction here. The subway is still currently open but a new footway has already been put in place.

Meadows Way: tram track base
The concrete base for one of the two tracks had been laid the day before, I learned. Behind the camera the lines will swing northwards and rise to cross the railway station on the Karlsruhe Friendship Bridge, which has recently been moved into position. Image] was taken from more or less the same spot six weeks before.
