Site of Boughton Station
View eastward, towards Lincoln; ex-GC (LD&EC) Lincoln - Chesterfield line. The station was closed on 19/9/55 when the passenger service ceased, but remained open for seasonal holiday trains until 5/9/64 and for goods until 4/1/65. The line remained open until recently for coal traffic to High Marnham Power Station.
