Mr Chris Wilcocks - Groundsman
Chris is the groundsman at Bilsthorpe Sports Ground. The ground was originally given to the village by Lord Scarborough for recreational use. Chris has worked hard so that the many football teams that play there have a fantastic surface to play on. Unbeknown to Chris, Matrixgrade FC manager (Steve Farmery) had nominated Chris for the FA National Step 7 and below groundsman of the year. It was a surprise to Chris and his family that he came runner-up in the competition. Well done Chris
