There it was, gone!!!
They came in the dead of night. Five men in dark clothing with theft on their minds, 4 wheel drive motors and a JCB. Their target was the cash machine. Locals were woken at 0300 hours by the noise of the JCB as it rammed the wall to get at the machine. Quickly they all dialled 999 as the gang went to work on the machine. Quite soon the gang had chained the machine to one of their vehicles, as people were informing the police of the finer details of the raid. All too soon the gang had roared off down Church Street with the machine, sparks fly as the machine was hastily towed away. Later in the day it was found in the nearby village of Eakring and the gang long gone with the proceeds of the machine
