Sherwood Forest Crematorium memorial garden
This state-of-the-art crematorium was opened in January 2006. It has mercury abatement equipment designed to prevent the release of mercury into the atmosphere, and is thus more environmentally friendly. The memorial garden is currently being developed, and it is hoped it will give a sense of permanence to mourners, who are able to plant trees & flowerbeds, or install seating or plaques in memory of their loved ones.
