Clipstone Colliery
A view of the colliery from the spoil heap. After closure in 2003 most of the colliery works was demolished, however due to the headstocks being the tallest in Europe and third tallest in the world along with the special winding set-up they were grade II listed. The winding house along with at least one electric winder survives. The owners have kept it secure but want it demolished.
