Kings Mill lake
This view from the Adventure Centre jetty gives a good idea of the extent of the lake, which was created to feed mills. As such it must be one of the largest mill ponds in the UK.

Kings Mill Viaduct
For an early structure (built 1817), this is a remarkably wide structure. It was built as part of the Mansfield and Pinxton railway, but this was realigned later and the viaduct remained. The viaduct is Listed Grade ii and also a Scheduled Monument. Update 2021 It's very pleasing to see the improvements that have been made at this location https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7001452

Kings Mill Viaduct
Dating from 1817, Kings Mill Viaduct carried the Mansfield and Pinxton tramway across a small stream. The main line (still open as part of the Robin Hood line) was diverted round this section of the tramway; the viaduct now carries a footpath.
