I do once remember thinking that the cover of the Oasis album, 'What's The Story Morning Glory,' was taken at this spot, as the 'Select-a Disc ' shop is visible on the left. The only two branches are here and in Soho, where the pic was actually taken.

Market Street trackworks
New rails have been laid and a final bitumen surface for the roadway is awaited. To the right of the fence the southbound lane is complete and open for buses.

3-5 Market Street, Nottingham
Market Street was cut through in 1865 and is lined with buildings mostly put up during the following decade. This French-tinged pair are probably c1870 and typically full of ornament. Grade II listed.
