Down Oxford Street
Looking past the junction with Regent Street towards Wellington Circus on a cold and cheerless May morning. The spire of A W N Pugin's Roman Catholic Cathedral shows above the trees. These streets of fine houses were built in the 1850s as Nottingham began to expand from its mediaeval core.
